Tammy is a Founding Partner in our firm. She graduated from Tarlton State University in Stephensville, Texas; with a Bachelor in Business Administration. She moved quickly into a Vice President position with Wells Fargo overseeing operations. Tammy then transitioned into the financial services industry in 2000. She worked heavily with military families to provide them financial planning as the war in the Gulf loomed.

 

     Tammy then became a Financial Professional with New York Life Insurance Company. She achieved numerous awards for her client service during her tenure with the company.

 

     Tammy’s experience made her ideally suited to run the day to day operations of Shipman & Associates, of which she is a Founding Partner. She also trains and acts as a liaison between our associates and our product providers.  Her primary focus is on client management. Tammy is the one that makes sure all the logistical issues in the office are met … but her most critical issues involve the firm’s client management. As our office Director, she ensures rapid and accurate business transactions and that preparatory work is completed for implementation of client goals.

 

     Tammy has her parents, aunt and uncle, and cousins all residing here in Boerne. Her husband, Michael, is also a co-founding partner in our firm. Tammy and Michael have two children; Logan (13) and Ally (10). She enjoys family events, fishing when Michael can get her there, and shopping. She is a member of the Boerne Chamber of Commerce and St. John’s Lutheran Church in Boerne.
